Earth Week 2008 From April 22-25, the Sutherland Institute hosted Earth Week 2008: The Future of Utah. The nation's top energy and climate experts delivered presentations focusing on the vital role that natural resources play when it comes to Utah's economic strength; the safety and affordability of nuclear power; the real reasons behind the increasing gas and food prices; and the limited effects of carbon dioxide on global warming.
